Statefinder Diagnostic for Dilaton Dark Energy
Statefinder diagnostic is a useful method which can differ one dark energy
model from the others. The Statefinder pair is algebraically related
to the equation of state of dark energy and its first time derivative. We apply
in this paper this method to the dilaton dark energy model based on Weyl-Scaled
induced gravitational theory. We investigate the effect of the coupling between
matter and dilaton when the potential of dilaton field is taken as the Mexican
hat form. We find that the evolving trajectory of our model in the
diagram is quite different from those of other dark energy models.Comment: 6 pages, 4 figures, type errors corrected, reference no. changed,

Latent patient profile modelling and applications with mixed-variate restricted Boltzmann machine
Efficient management of chronic diseases is critical in modern health care. We consider diabetes mellitus, and our ongoing goal is to examine how machine learning can deliver information for clinical efficiency. The challenge is to aggregate highly heterogeneous sources including demographics, diagnoses, pathologies and treatments, and extract similar groups so that care plans can be designed. To this end, we extend our recent model, the mixed-variate restricted Boltzmann machine (MV.RBM), as it seamlessly integrates multiple data types for each patient aggregated over time and outputs a homogeneous representation called "latent profile" that can be used for patient clustering, visualisation, disease correlation analysis and prediction. We demonstrate that the method outperforms all baselines on these tasks - the primary characteristics of patients in the same groups are able to be identified and the good result can be achieved for the diagnosis codes prediction
Determination of the number of J/ψ events with inclusive J/ψ decays
A measurement of the number of J/ψ events collected with the BESIII detector in 2009 and 2012 is performed using inclusive decays of the J/ψ. The number of J/ψ events taken in 2009 is recalculated to be (223.7 ± 1.4) × 106, which is in good agreement with the previous measurement, but with significantly improved precision due to improvements in the BESIII software. The number of J/ψ events taken in 2012 is determined to be (1086.9 ± 6.0) × 106. In total, the number of J/ψ events collected with the BESIII detector is measured to be (1310.6 ± 7.0) × 106, where the uncertainty is dominated by systematic effects and the statistical uncertainty is negligible
